Events
Although the exact details are still being finalized, the preliminary schedule of events include:
Two (2) Invited speakers: David Maloney, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne
Bill Reitz, Stark State College of Technology & half of the Flying Bernoulli Brothers
Workshop I: To Be Announced

Make and Take Workshop: Teaching Physics using Children's Literature
Bill Reitz, physics instructor at Stark State College of Technology & half of the Flying Bernoulli Brothers)
Talks: Contributed papers (undergrad and grad students highly encouraged to present!)
“How I Do It” (5-minute presentations on neat ideas from the classroom)
Possible Forums:
Teaching in the 2 year College setting: Challenges and Opportunities
(Discussion panel consisting of local Physics faculty at 2 year institutions)
Ohio Science Standards and Assessment
(Holly Lavender, Liberty Union High School)

Must be received by April 20, 2012 if you are giving a contributed or “How I Do It” talk.
Registration is FREE for all students (graduate and otherwise) and for high school teachers who are first-time attendees!!

Approaching from the North on US 33
( Columbus , Pickerington, Canal Winchester ):
Proceed on US 33 toward Lancaster , take the
business route to Coonpath Road . Turn left on Coonpath Road and proceed 5.6
miles to SR 37. Turn right on SR 37 and proceed 2.1 miles. The campus sits on
the left on SR 37.
Approaching from the South on US 33
( Athens , Logan , Sugar Grove):
Proceed on US33 to Main Street and turn right.
At High Street (the fourth traffic light past the US33-Main Street
intersection), turn left. Proceed north on High Street. When you reach the
intersection of High Street and East Fair Avenue , proceed straight on High
Street/SR37 for 1.2 miles (past Rising Park and Lancaster High School ). The
campus will sit on the right.
Approaching from the North on SR37
( Newark , Granville, Zanesville via I-70):
Proceed on SR37 2.1 miles past the
intersection of Coonpath Road . The campus sits on the left side of SR37
(Granville Pike).
Approaching from the East on US22
( Zanesville , Sheridan ):
Proceed through Lancaster on US22 to the High
Street intersection. Turn right on High Street. When you reach the intersection
of High Street and East Fair Avenue , proceed straight on High Street/SR37 for
1.2 miles (past Rising Park and Lancaster High School ). The campus sits on the
right.
Approaching from the West on US22
(Circleville, Chillicothe via SR 159):
In Lancaster , US22 becomes Lincoln Avenue and
then Main Street at US33. Proceed to the fourth traffic light past the Main
Street --US33 intersection (High Street). Turn left onto High Street. When you
reach the High Street and East Fair Avenue intersection, proceed straight on
High Street/SR37 for 1.2 miles (past Rising Park and Lancaster High School ).
The campus sits on the right.
Approaching from Pickerington:
Proceed east from Pickerington via either SR
204 or SR 256 to SR 37. Turn right (south) on SR 37. The campus is on SR 37 2.1
miles south of the SR 37-- Coonpath Road intersection. An alternate route
(which is also shorter) is to take Pickerington or Hill Road to US 33 and turn
left (south). Proceed on US 33 to Coonpath Road . Turn left on Coonpath Road
and proceed 5.6 miles to SR 37. Turn right on SR 37 and proceed 2.1 miles. The
campus sits on the left on SR 37.
Parking Information
Students and visitors are encouraged to enter at the traffic light via SR 37 and College Avenue, and access the north parking lot. Parking is free and spacious, with ample marked areas for handicapped access
